📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition?

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three-four weeks. At the end of each competition there will be a random draw that determines our winner! It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Club Navigator Community and over 18 years old.
  • The entry period runs from now, August 26, until September 30 at 11:59pm PT. For each entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will do a random draw with the names of qualified participants.
  • The winner will be announced on the week commencing on September 5th.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a draw.
  • For further details on the Monthly Competition, please read the official Community Contest rules here.
  • Disclaimer: Your comment can be re-shared without additional permission in any upcoming Community post, article, or resource.

💬 I’m looking forward to all your tips in the comments!

This might be a bit simple, but I have maintained a Google Doc as a to-do list/work tracker since we were required to submit recap journals of our work for internships in college. I organize it by day and track what I accomplished (and I use it to plan a day, so I list what needs to get done and then finalize it when it’s finished). I have a few different versions for the different positions I’ve held since the internship days, but I’ve kept it roughly the same since then.

I’ve explored other task management tools for personal use (Trello, Monday.com) but have always stuck with my Google Docs as something accessible (I can access across devices), low lift (organized by bulleted lists), and flexible to cover both what I’ve done and what I need to do. I have a space for future ideas, or sort of the ideal what I’d like to get to if I have the time, which get slotted in if I don’t have anything higher priority due, so it also plays the role of a repository (so that ideas don’t get lost in my myriad post-it notes and slips of paper).

I’m not sure I’d recommend it to everyone, but it’s worked for me for so many years and I keep coming back to it, so it’s a nice reminder that I don’t need to be on the most complex tool to get that value.

Now that I’m done talking :) I’m going to tag a few people who might have some good perspective they’d like to share on tools/workflows/features/etc. that they’ve found valuable: @LavenderRed, @Ysabel Palomino, @Cole OGara, @Robert T., @Niranjana, @Terrence, @feraba, @Marie-Antoinette, @Natasha Tous, @Sarah.norton, @Heat_2060, @bconrad56, @KabugaJames, @gvilcocq

For me, the day starts with LinkedIn! 😊

The one tool I can’t imagine working without is LinkedIn. It helps me find the right people, research prospects, and build meaningful relationships.

I also rely on a simple Excel tracker to manage my leads, follow-ups, and conversations—making sure no opportunity gets missed.

Simple tools, but a powerful daily workflow! @Francesca_Community Manager
