[Winner Announced] 🏆 March Competition: What Is Your Sales Navigator Routine?

  • March 3, 2026

This month’s competition is inspired by our Community Roundtable From Search to Conversation: How Top Sellers Use Sales Navigator to Build Real Pipeline with @Madhusudan.Singh and @Abesh.Sengupta (📺 watch the recording here). During this event, we talked about habits, routines, and decision‑making that separate average usage from high‑impact prospecting.

To unlock the full power of Sales Navigator, consistency matters. Having a clear and efficient daily routine, paired with the right saved searches and alerts, allows Sales Navigator to:

  • help you build pipeline
  • highlight the right opportunities
  • save you time
  • help make your outreach more strategic.

📣 The question for this month’s competition is: what is your Sales Navigator Routine? 📣

Tell us what your routine entails and how long it takes in the comments for a chance to enter our raffle and win our exclusive SWAG! 🎁

📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition?

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three-four weeks. At the end of each competition there will be a random draw that determines our winner! It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Club Navigator Community and over 18 years old.
  • The entry period runs from now, March 3, until March 31 at 11:59pm PST. For each entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will do a random draw with the names of qualified participants.
  • The winner will be announced on April 1
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a draw.
  • For further details on the Monthly Competition, please read the official Community Contest rules here.
  • Disclaimer: Your comment can be re-shared without additional permission in any upcoming Community post, article, or resource.

💬 I look forward to learning about your routines in the comments! 👇

My Sales Navigator routine is built around consistency and focus.

    Daily (30 minutes, structured):

    • 5 min - Review saved search alerts filtered by role + seniority + recent activity

    • 10 min - Scan for trigger events (job changes, funding, content engagement, hiring trends)

    • 10 min - Engage before outreach (comment thoughtfully or interact where relevant)

    • 5 min - Send 2–3 highly contextual InMails tied to a specific signal

    Weekly (60 minutes):

    • Tighten ICP filters based on response quality

    • Remove cold or stagnant leads

    • Analyze which trigger events convert into conversations

    • Refresh messaging angles based on industry shifts

The biggest shift for me was moving from “more outreach” to “better timing.”

Sales Navigator works best when consistency meets intent that’s when insights turn into pipeline.

Great breakdown, @hussainhyder! Thank you for sharing both your daily and weekly routines - I love both, but I think your weekly actions to ensure you adjust for the right targets are most important.

Ensuring that your searches are refined and your lists updated, combined with the analysis and tailoring of what works and what doesn’t, makes the rest of the week’s work meaningful and productive!

One key step is that I filter the feed by account list = clients, then = prospects, then = competitors to scan for interesting news and developments. You could do the same by lead list = xyz, etc

Interesting, @barry! Sounds like a smart approach - how much time daily or weekly you think you dedicate to this workflow?

Thanks so much, @Francesca_Community Manager. Really appreciate that insight.

I completely agree. I’ve found that the weekly refinement is what keeps everything else effective. If the targeting isn’t right, even the best outreach won’t create meaningful conversations.

Sales Navigator becomes much more powerful when those small adjustments compound week after week.

Great point, @barry. Filtering the feed by different account lists is a smart way to catch signals that might otherwise be missed.

My Sales Navigator routine is focused on signal-based prospecting rather than volume.

Every day I spend about 20–30 minutes on three things:

    1. Review saved account & lead alerts to track role changes, hiring signals, or company updates.
    2. Engage with prospects’ content to build familiarity before outreach.
    3. Send highly personalized connection requests or InMails based on the signals I see.

This keeps outreach relevant, warm, and strategic instead of purely transactional @Francesca_Community Manager

This seems to be the best approach @Sinchu Raju - preferring quality over volume is the right mindset. When outreach feels relevant and rightly timed, the chances of receiving a response increase. Thank you Sinchu!
