This is the next level of Sales Navigator basics: combining two powerful signals: Buyer Intent and Category Intent.

💡 The Secret: Combining Two Intent Signals

  • Buyer Intent: Tells you which companies are actively viewing your profile, your company page, or your competitor's page. (They're looking at you!)

  • Category Intent: Tells you which companies are actively searching for solutions in your space (e.g., they're looking for "CRM Software" or "Cloud Security").

When you combine these two signals, you find the HOTTEST leads—the ones who are researching a solution and viewing your company.

The 30-Second 'Hot Lead' Search:

  1. Start with Lead Search: Go to the Lead Search tab.

  2. Filter by Account: Apply your saved list of ideal Accounts (companies you want to target).

  3. Apply Intent Filters:

    • Find the "Post to Target" or "Engagement" filters and select options showing they've viewed your content/page (Buyer Intent).

    • Find the "Category Intent" filter and select the categories relevant to your solution (Category Intent).

  4. The Result: Your search results instantly filter down to the few, golden leads who are actively researching your type of solution right now.
