💬 "They're interested… but is it too early to reach out?"

Every seller has frozen on this one. You spot the signals — a profile view, a like, an intent bump — but you're not sure if it's a real green light or you'd be jumping the gun. 🚦

So let's crowdsource it 👇

What's YOUR green light to send that first message? 👀 They viewed your profile 👍 They engaged with your (or your company's) content 📈 Their account's Buyer Intent is climbing 🔄 A recent job change …or something else entirely?

Comment your #1 "now's the time" trigger — genuinely curious what this community trusts most.

@Damien-XocialGong  what stood out to me wasn't the #OpenToWork signal itself—it was your mindset of treating it as the start of a conversation rather than an opportunity to pitch.

Your story also reinforces something many professionals overlook: sometimes the best way to earn trust isn't by talking about your own solution, but by helping someone expand their network first. Those moments create credibility that no sales script can replicate.

It really shows that consistency, genuine support, and simply being present often outperform perfectly timed outreach.

So true. Those simple acts can indirectly open the door to new opportunities.

@Alexandre Damiani, Thank you so much for this insightful comment! You've perfectly articulated why that perspective on community is so crucial.

It is true that the entrepreneurial path can feel incredibly isolating, and for most, it is a profoundly lonely journey.

When you are doing great, others may call it luck or dismiss it with unsupportive, envious notions. When you are struggling, people are often quick to criticize or encourage you to quit rather than stay committed. If you seek emotional support from family or friends, they often don’t understand the specific weight of your struggles—I’ve lived it, and to some extent, I still do—so the response is often just silence.

As you navigate the roller coaster of starting a business, you might sometimes feel the urge to bury your face in the sand, grappling with the shame of recurring failures. Conversely, when a breakthrough finally happens, the celebration is often a quiet moment of jumping for joy, or if you’re like me, treating yourself to a Venti Mocha Frappuccino. 😂

We often celebrate the 'solo journey' or the 'bootstrapped founder,' but the reality is, genuine connections aren't just a nice-to-have; they're an essential lifeline. Beyond the obvious business opportunities, it's the shared empathy, the quick advice when you're stuck, or simply a knowing nod from someone who 'gets it' that truly fuels resilience. So the key is to remember who gave you that pep talk, because that’s the circle of influence you want to bond with the strongest, and for the rest, well, your success in silence is the sweet vengence, even if it’s a moment where you celebrate it by yourself.

That 'competitive advantage' you mentioned isn't just about leads or partnerships; it's about the emotional and intellectual capital that keeps us from burning out. It's the difference between navigating tough decisions alone and having a sounding board of trusted peers.

Your point about support when challenges arise really hits home. That's often when the strength of your network truly reveals itself.

Thanks again for adding such a thoughtful layer to the conversation!"

@Damien-XocialGong  @Alexandre Damiani

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about entrepreneurship is that resilience is something you're born with. In reality, it's built through countless moments that no one else sees.

Having people around you who understand those moments makes all the difference. Sometimes, the most valuable thing your network gives you isn't a lead or a client—it's the confidence to keep showing up.

@Abesh.Sengupta I completely agree. Those are the exact people you want in your circle. Embrace them and hold them tight. Their encouragement and advice are invaluable during those rough patches, especially when plans fall through or a major deal suddenly disappears. Building that kind of support system changes everything.
