We'll start 👀 — the #1 thing we hear from new users is 'how do I get replies to my messages?' What's your biggest one?

Excelente iniciativa @Abesh.

@Abesh.Sengupta, I’d love to see what your team says actually works: "Writing messages that actually get replies." I’m really interested in your team’s expertise here. I’m interested in learning some tried-and-true messaging strategies that consistently drive a response and engagement from the recipient. Specifically, I’d love to see a breakdown of the initial connection request message versus the follow-up message once they accept, along with your recommendations on the best timing for those touchpoints. Thanks for making this the topic (sending vibes to drive this conversation)! 😃

That's a fantastic topic, and I couldn't agree more! 😄

Without giving away too much just yet, we're actually working on something along these lines that's targeted for the October timeframe. The focus won't just be on what features to use, but how to build effective habits and workflows that consistently lead to better engagement.

We'll be covering practical topics like when to use specific Sales Navigator features, how to structure outreach, developing repeatable habits, and ultimately how to increase the likelihood of getting meaningful responses—not just sending more messages.

Stay tuned—we're excited to share more soon, and I think it'll be right up your alley! 🚀

I want to know what all types of inmail msgs are working in the industry for service business owners. Using multiple variations isnt giving me success at all.

Thanks for the question. InMail effectiveness can vary significantly by industry, audience, offer, and the stage of the buyer's journey, so there isn't one universal template that consistently performs best for service business owners.

What we're seeing across the industry is that the strongest-performing InMails tend to be:

  • Personalized and relevant to the recipient's business challenges
  • Focused on a clear value proposition rather than a sales pitch
  • Short, conversational, and easy to respond to
  • Centered around insights, outcomes, or a specific problem being solved
  • Supported by social proof, customer success stories, or industry expertise where relevant

If multiple message variations aren't delivering the results you're expecting, it may be worth reviewing not just the message itself, but also factors such as audience targeting, timing, sender credibility, and the offer or call to action.

You can also post this question in the Community to gather additional perspectives from other service business owners and sales professionals. Many members share examples of what has worked for them, which can provide useful ideas and real-world benchmarks.

Feel free to ask the same question in the Community and you'll likely get a broader range of approaches and successful examples from peers as well.

@piyushgoel

Thanks for sharing that. My assumption would be that most service business owners receive dozens of messages promising more leads, lower CPLs, and higher ROAS every week.

In that environment, a new offer may not outperform a new insight.

Example:

Instead of:

"Can we help scale your lead generation?"

try:

"I noticed your agency serves the UAE and India markets. Are you seeing different CPL and close rates between the two regions?"

That's a conversation starter rather than a sales message.

Curious whether you've tested insight-led outreach versus offer-led outreach.

This is entirely based on the information, I found about EmegingAds. If you have any specific examples of InMails you send and you are comfortable sharing them with me, please drop me a DM and we can continue our conversation there. Thanks!
