What content will be publicly visible?

A selection of expert LinkedIn resources shared by employees, insightful LinkedIn data, case studies, and other publicly available materials will be available for everyone to view. This will give potential members an understanding of the value of Community before joining.

 

What content will require a login?

To unlock the full experience, you’ll need to log in. Private content like exclusive events, peer-to-peer insights, personalized posts, comments, and your shared images are reserved for only our logged-in members. Creating an account ensures a more secure, tailored, and connected Community experience — don’t miss out!

 

Will I still be able to interact with posts without creating an account?

No, only logged-in members will be able to interact with posts, comment, and view member-generated content. To engage fully with the Community, visitors will need to login or create an account.

 

Why are we switching to a flexible model?

We believe this new model will provide a better experience for both existing and potential members, making it easier for visitors to discover the value of our Community before joining.

 

Will I notice any changes as a current member?

No, there will be no changes for current members once logged in. Your posts, images, and comments will continue to be visible only to logged-in members. You can enjoy the same level of privacy and access as you did before. You will also continue to have full access to all the features and privacy settings you have enjoyed previously, as long as you’re logged in.

 

We will also be refining and reorganizing the Community categories to make them more concise during this transition. This will improve the discoverability and clarity of Community content.

 

Will my posts, image, and information stay private?

Yes — your privacy is our priority. Everything you’ve shared, including posts, images, and interactions, will remain visible only to logged-in members. Anyone without an account won’t be able to access your content, ensuring your professional information and thought leadership stays secure and protected.

 

How will this change improve my experience?

We believe that the new flexible model will improve the experience for both new and existing members by giving everyone a chance to explore and get value from the Community.
