The #1 lesson I learned this year that I’ll carry into 2025 is the power of personalization and building authentic relationships. With tools like Sales Navigator, it's easier than ever to gather data on prospects, but the real value comes from using that information to craft messages and strategies that resonate with individuals on a deeper level. By focusing on true connections rather than just sales numbers, you can create lasting relationships that lead to mutual growth. In 2025, I’ll continue to prioritize this approach to foster stronger, more meaningful interactions with customers and prospects alike.
@Ndacorsi0218 Completely agree—personalization and authentic connections are game-changers. It's not just about leveraging data but using it thoughtfully to build trust and meaningful relationships. Here's to making 2025 a year of deeper connections and shared success!
This year, I learned using LinkedIn is to put yourself out there, to take risks sharing and posting, and to not be intimidated connecting with Executive Leadership individuals.
This year, I’ve learned about the power for hyper-specific lead filtering in LinkedIn Sales Nav! This has greatly helped me identify and prioritize my prospects more accurately. This targeted approach has saved me so much time and has increased my volume of qualified leads in my CRM!
Sales Navigator has been an invaluable tool in kickstarting my journey in sales and marketing
.
The main aspect I think is mastering the Lead filters: after filtering, I keep refining the leads using the search bar, finding keywords in their job history, profile section, etc. It’s amazing how easily I can connect with the right prospects effectively!
Also, the fact I can clearly see which leads I already have in my CRM has been a game changer, saves so much time.
Cheers
Looking at the notification “Bell” in the top right on Sales Nav to see who actioned our outreach and then responding without being overly assertive and without taking to long to respond is key.

#1 Lesson I learned this year #2024
Sales Navigator is a very powerful tool for me and it has significantly enhanced my sales performance and for many other BDRs/SDRs like me. Overtime, I’ve mastered the art of searching techniques, lead generation strategies, account-based selling, and especially relation based selling. Sales professionals like me are able to identify and prioritize potential customers effectively through the filters that are available.
Additionally, Sales Navigator has provided a lot of data-driven insights, and staying updated on industry trends. By leveraging these tools and techniques, the sales teams across are able streamline their processes, improve customer relationships, and ultimately achieve greater success.
Cheers

The #1 thing I learned this year about Sales Navigator: It’s just not “Names, Numbers, and Titles”.
It’s about people, connection, and support. Yes, it’s a business tool, but it can be, and is, so much more. Sales Navigator is a KEY that unlocks doors to many (not just job) opportunities. It starts with connection.
Collaborate and reach out a hand...your insights could change the perspective of someone who may be struggling to fully utilize this powerful platform. Meet new people. Discuss ideas. Grow.
Jump in...the water’s fine!
2024 has been a game-changer for me, especially with the incredible Account IQ feature in #SalesNavigator. This tool has been my secret weapon, providing deep insights into:
- How companies generate revenue
- Their strategic priorities
- Business challenges they face
- The competitive landscape they navigate
These insights have transformed my approach to creating outreach scripts, enabling my sales team to have more productive and meaningful sales calls. But beyond the data, it’s about the connections and relationships we’ve built.
Sales Navigator isn’t just a tool; it’s a bridge to understanding and engaging with people on a deeper level. It’s about crafting messages that resonate and building authentic relationships that lead to mutual growth.
Here’s to a 2025 filled with even more learning, growth, and meaningful connections!
In 2024, Sales Navigator proved to be an indispensable tool for my work. With advanced filters, I was able to identify leads with precision and focus on the most relevant opportunities. Additionally, the custom search save feature kept me ahead of the game, sending alerts about new prospects that met my criteria. Another amazing feature was the shared connections view, which helped me make more assertive outreach and build stronger relationships.
By using these tools strategically, I not only increased my volume of qualified leads but also closed valuable contracts. In 2025, I’ll continue to make the most of Sales Navigator to further strengthen my connections and achieve new successes!
I’ve finally gotten on board using Sales Navigator in 2024. I was a bit intimidated for a long time, but this has been the year of working it out and putting myself out there.
My best tip is to truly explore all the filters - I have a very specific target group based on business size and ownership and I feel like I’ve finally cracked the code to target the right people! Although I’m still struggling to exclude particular roles consistently - I’m still getting longer lists than what I really need.
The #1 thing I learned that I take with me to 2025 is- The power of including various types of content using the Smart Link functionality. I will continue to remind our users of the power of Smart Links and how they can leverage to send videos, websites, slides, demo videos etc. Thus making the content personalised, relevant and accessible to the prospect/client receiving it.
And the power to see what content has resonated with the audience and how much time they have spent going through the content
The power of the LinkedIn Sales Community!!! 🫂
@SP_2023 the Smart Link functionality is still my favorite feature even though I no longer have access to it. There is so much power in Smart Links when used strategically.
I am taking the power of Sales Navigator into 2025. I have used Sales Navigator in many different ways this year and grateful to have access to this tool. Sales Navigator has helped me in my job search, in securing clients, in finding qualified AND interested volunteers (before LinkedIn added the “I’m open to volunteer” feature), and more.
The Number one thing I have learned that I will take in to 2025 and beyond is in the power of leveraging LinkedIN and Sales Navigator to start a meaningful conversation. The opportunity for authentic, meaningful, personalized relevant conversations that add value mutually are what makes the difference.
Learn from yesterday, but don’t dwell on it. Stop waiting until tomorrow as it will never come. Be intentional with your actions today and take little actions towards your ideal outcome. Consistency over time will get you there.
The one thing I learned would be: act as human in the AI era.
The one thing i learned is to always be prepared before any conversation, be empathic with everybody and get to know the other, so at the end, also here in Sales Navigator, we can be trustable and HELP. That is at the end what we always need to look for.
A big thing that I learned in sales navigator but also in normal LinkedIn is to do and not just look!
The #1 lesson I learned this year that I’ll carry into 2025 is VALUE , Value represents the worth or significance of something in various contexts, from business to personal life. It’s about creating or recognizing what truly matters and contributes meaningfully to outcomes or relationships.
This year, I discovered something simple yet profound: clarity of purpose transforms everything.
As a leader, I’ve always focused on results—projects delivered, goals achieved, targets met. But in 2024, I realized that why we do something is the fuel that sustains us through challenges. When my team and I aligned on a shared purpose—not just what we wanted to accomplish but why it mattered—we unlocked a new level of motivation and creativity.
Purpose makes hard days easier and good days better. It’s what turns work into a mission. As we enter 2025, my focus is clear: lead with purpose, inspire through vision, and always start with why.
My best experience is to combine Sales Navigator Smartlinks with LinkedIn Lead Gen and Brandawarness Campaigns.
That is the best way to identify demand on a individual level. My target group is visible when they start interacting with my ad and clicks the smartlink.
Sales team can start social selling and do outreach and follow ups with proven data.
The best thing to combine marketing and sales.
The #1 thing I’ve learned this year is the importance of adaptability. Life and work are constantly changing, and being flexible with my approach helps me navigate challenges more effectively. I’m excited to carry this mindset into 2025!
