Hi everyone,

 

Happy Monday and happy new year! I just returned to work today after unplugging for about two weeks and am feeling refreshed and recharged. I hope you all got ample rest and have a lot to look forward to this year. On that note, I’d like to kick us off with the first monthly competition of 2023. This should be a simple one, but make sure to follow the instructions below if you’d like to participate!

📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition? 

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three weeks. After the entry period, everyone (including the participants) can vote on who they think did the best job and should win the competition before the end of the month. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

 

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Sales Navigator Community and over 18 years old. 
  • The entry period runs from now, Jan 9 to 20 until 11:59pm PST. For your entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will launch a poll with the names of qualified participants for other everyone (including participants themselves) to vote on between Jan 21-30 on this post.
  • The participant with the highest number of votes will be announced the winner on Jan 31.
    • If there is a tie, the Community team will use a random drawing to determine who the final winner is.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a poll.

Eva,

I am new to my organization and have been brought in to lead and develop a global Sales Development team. My goal for 2023 is to unite the global team, provide training on our tools and resources, and to share best practices across the team.

What I am most looking forward to in 2023 is getting back to the full in-person conference schedule. Between COVID-19 and investments in other parts of the business, we haven't been able to do that much when it comes to events over the past few years. As for my goal, it is to overhaul our marketing funnel with a new focus on maximizing towards our "Ideal Customer Profile"—the idea being that this will allow us to spend less time trying to be everything for everyone and more time being precisely what is needed.


In year 2023, I have new assignment as Business Development Manager in FMCG vertical. 

and my goal is to grow my capabilities and expertise to understand the specific needs in FMCG industry over time and become a reliable partner of customers. Being able to propose solutions to customers that could create value for the supply chains/businesses is something that I am looking forward to in this year. 

Happy to know that we now have Sales Navigator AI that will help me to connect and build my expertise with targeted potential buyers and maximize its value. 


Goals for 2023 are to maximize utilization of all Revenue tooling, starting with turning on all Sales Navigator features for our teams.


My goal for 2023 is to grow my network more and make my clients happier. Also, will put more effort towards training of our employees on LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I will also increase my efforts towards contributing more SN community.


My goal for this year is to up my acceptance and reply ratio for InMails to over 60% within my 2nd degree network of leads and transform these in actual appointments/deals.


My goal in my role for 2023 would be to adopt new AI tool with efficiency in my daily tasks. I think this year is gonna be game changing for our day-to-day like, implementing new practices would be crucial. Let see where we head, it's exciting 😁


One of the goals for 2023 in our Sales Nav professional team it to improve the ROI-reporting for our Sales Nav program.
