Hi everyone,

Happy Friday and final month of the year! It’s shocking how the last few months flew by, and we are in the season of holidays and rest soon. This is also the time of year for reflection and perhaps even starting to look ahead into the future. With that said, I’d like to launch the final monthly win competition this year along this theme. Follow the simple instructions below to enter!

🏆 The Competition

1.     Like this post and answer at least one of the following questions.

2.    What is your biggest lesson in 2022? This can be related to how you sell, how you work with your team, how you interact with your customers, or in general.

3.    What is one practice, hack, insight, or tip that you’ll take with you into 2023 and continue? This can also be related to sales or more generally speaking.

📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition?

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three weeks. After the entry period, everyone (including the participants) can vote on who they think did the best job and should win the competition before the end of the month. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Sales Navigator Community and over 18 years old.
  • The entry period runs from now, Dec 2 to 16 until 11:59pm PST. For your entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will launch a poll with the names of qualified participants for other everyone (including participants themselves) to vote on between Dec 17-22 on this post.
  • The participant with the highest number of votes will be announced the winner on Dec 23.
    • If there is a tie, the Community team will use a random drawing to determine who the final winner is.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a poll.
  • For further details on the Monthly Competition, please read the official Community Contest rules here.
  • Disclaimer: Your comment can be re-shared without additional permission in any upcoming Community post, article, or resource.

🏅 What are the prizes?

The winner will have the opportunity to win a Sales Navigator Community puff vest:

I can’t wait to learn more about your 2022 lessons, hacks, and best practices. Good luck and let the competition begin!

Thank you,

Eva C.

This is so obvious, but I created a Saved Search to keep up with connections changing jobs when I noticed formerly close colleagues had moved on to new roles. A great way to stay in touch with your network (particularly if it's large!).

Advanced Search>1st Degree>Year in current company-less than 1>spotlights-changed jobs in the past 90 days. Save search as career updates.

I love what @Larry H says, I do that too, it's a great way to keep track of your network.

One of my favorites is 2nd degree connections that already follow my company. They're obviously already interested in what my company does, so why not level up and hook up with the relevant as well. As there are several hundred results, I also filter the leads on job title.

And yes, this is a Saved Search as well (2 actually, one in the Netherlands and one not in the Netherlands)

@Perry van Beek Saved search is so powerful. And people don't always notify their networks of career changes!

Love your idea on company followers.

For me it would have to be to pay attention to the new buyer intent data as this will help me and my sales colleagues reach out to the right people in the right accounts at the right time. #GameChanger

I like Saved Lead list specifically the system generated like Recently accepted connections and New Executives at Saved accounts. Apart from that the new buyer intent data which is very helpful for identifying right opportunity to connect at the right time. All this will be very helpful for me in the next year.

[Voting is Open!]
