After learning a lot about the features you’d like to use more of in Sales Navigator as the first part of the Q4 Community competition here, today we’d like to bring a new question to explore together what your best practice is when you start your day with this amazing tool. By answering this post, you increase your chances to win the Community prize and more importantly, support your peers and hear about other experts’ best first actions.

📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition? 

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three weeks. From now on, we will keep the competition open for the entire quarter for you, while we open two more posts to participate. At the end of each quarter there will be a random draw where each competition entry counts! It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win a LinkedIn swag or Virtual Recognition*. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

 

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Sales Solutions Community and over 18 years old. 
  • The entry period runs from now, November 6 until December 18 11:59pm PST. For each entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will do a random draw with the names of qualified participants.
  • The winner will be announced the winner on December 19.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a draw.

The feature I use & like the most will be the “My Priority Accounts” on the homepage. This feature helps us to directly dive into our key accounts and find all relevant news, updates and stakeholders.

The “View decision makers” makes it really easy to see the key stakeholders at a company with just one click 


straight into my Saved Lead searches!


I look at the the Home of Sales Navigator for customer postings and updates

I always go to my accounts list to look at category and buyer intent. Also, nothing starts the flow better than accessing Sales Navigator starting from an email of “New Leads added to my search” or “New accounts with high buyer intent”.


I usually check my alerts first when I open Sales Nav, as I want to work on them as soon as possible. I had a great success story with alterts, but it only works if you react prompt.


my favorite feature from the Q4 2023 QPR was that we have the note-section in the account lists back 🙂 this was one of our ideas / whishes!


I always go straight to my feed to start the engagement process.  I’m also a bit of a social index tart, I pretty much check this weekly :)


I usually go to my feed and filter by my priority leads. That gives me a good sense of where to focus next.


Upon entering my Sales Navigator account, my initial focus is on reviewing my priority accounts. This feature allows for a seamless dive into our key accounts, providing access to pertinent news & updates.


The alerts, filtered on the lead list I am working on for that period. 


I go directly to my Bookmarked Alerts as these are the Leads I am actively engaging or pursuing. It helps me focus when conducting research or designing next steps in my engagement plan.


I loved reading your answers and learning about how you start your day with Sales Navigator, which feature you’d like to use more of in the next year and which new feature you are excited about. It’s so powerful to hear about you and see how much you are dedicated to your daily selling habits!
