Hello Community Members,

We enjoy hearing about your Sales Navigator journey and the features you are using or planning to add to your daily habits. Just stepping into the last quarter of the year, we would like to invite you to the last set of competitions, that will last for 3 months again and you can win prizes at the end by participating!

🏆 The Competition

  1. Answer this question in the comment: What Sales Navigator feature do you want to use more of and why?
  2. Like this post and engage with your peers.

📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition?

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three weeks. From now on, we will keep the competition open for the entire quarter for you, while we open two more posts to participate. At the end of each quarter there will be a random draw where each competition entry counts! It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win a LinkedIn swag or Virtual Recognition*. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Sales Solutions Community and over 18 years old.
  • The entry period runs from now, October 2, until December 18 11:59pm PST. For each entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will do a random draw with the names of qualified participants.
  • The winner will be announced the winner on December 19.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a draw.
  • For further details on the Monthly Competition, please read the official Community Contest rules here.
  • Disclaimer: Your comment can be re-shared without additional permission in any upcoming Community post, article, or resource.

🏅 What are the prizes?

*The winner will have the opportunity to win a Community swag or a Virtual Recognition. For more information please read this Community Resources post.

I can’t wait to learn more about your journey and the feature you want to use more of!

Let the competition begin!

I want to use more of is the Buyer Intent feature because of the various “triggers” that can indicate buyer intent.

What I really like about LinkedIn’s version of buyer intent is that it provides some reasons as to why the account is being triggered to have buyer intent. Website visits, company page visits, profile views, etc.

The most interesting one to me is the Website Visits and the fact LinkedIn can track and report on this as long as the LinkedIn Insights Tracker is setup properly.

Agree with Christopher above! Buyer intent reporting is a fantastic addition to the tool that help users prioritise their sales outreach efforts on the platform.

I love it also because it gives us more information on the LinkedIn paid ads performance than the Campaign Manager itself! I have just written a blog about this that gets published on Tuesday - happy to share it with anyone who is interested :)

Thank you both, @christopher-cozzolino and @justyna.brownbridge. I’m glad ot see that you are looking into leveraging the Buyer Intent feature more.

@justyna.brownbridge it’s interesting that it gives more insights than the Campaign Manager! Of course, we are curious to read your blogpost on this topic. Please free to share with us! 😊

@justyna.brownbridge I look forward to reading your blog post!

The purchase intention reports are great and I would like to use them. It would be cool to make it available to CORE accounts.

hey Zita. Great. Here is the link to the blog https://www.tribalimpact.com/blog/linkedin-thought-leader-ads

I love the personas feature and the ability to apply it directly to my accounts to find new leads.

@justyna.brownbridge Thank you for sharing the blog post! I find it very interesting and very well written! What stood out for me the most is that the key to the Thought Leadership ad is to be personal and genuine, just like we recommend showing up in the outreach and any interaction. It was also great to read about your experience and the great results with Buyer Intent! It gives an extra angle to leverage the data available for you in Sales Navigator. I’m learning from you, as always! 😊

@fedgovsales Thank you for adding the Personas feature to this conversation! It’s also great to mention and dedicate some time to set up your Personas to have a more simplified process. If you are looking to dive deep in this topic, we have a Community FAQ on Relationship Explorer + Personas, feel free to study it an let us know if you have any questions or you’d like to share your experience with us using it:

I love the new alert features.

In particular the lead > Filter lead alert drop down.  I use the lead engagement a lot as it helps me identify who has recently connected with me so i can send them a thank you.

I also use the lead list then choose my specific saved list so i can quickly see which of my leads have been posting so i can drop them a like or comment.

Great to hear @PaulaRoberts8  that you are exploring and enjoying this new feature. Good tips on following up on the new connections and posts on LinkedIn, building trust with your potential clients! Keep us posted with your success stories 🚀

Always more SEARCH filters!  Different ways of filtering contacts and accounts is extremely helpful! 😁

Thank you for adding the search filters to this list. There are so many features that we can focus on, however, the Advanced Search is one of the most rewarding ones. Once you find the right combination that works for you, Sales Navigator and the database is turning to a treasure mine! I’m curious to hear your next filter combination and your success stories, @ksoltmann🔥

Spotlight. Qualifies the buyer to my needs

Hi @Zita_Community Manager, the feature I will be using more often is Smart Links. The ability to send multiple pieces of content and track engagement are helpful for a variety of use cases.

We’ve used Smart Links to send proposals, information to prospects, backup copies of presentations to ourselves, and presentations accessible through QR codes to presentation attendees. It is a valuable tool I will be using more often.

@Zita_Community Manager  I actually love that LinkedIn and Sales Navigator are separate.
Now, I’m not sure if this counts, but right now I’m loving Lead Filters overall. More specifically Activities and Shared Experiences → Viewed your profile in the last 90 days.

On LinkedIn, maybe they’re the same and just in different order. However on Sales Nav I can filter deeper and see more insights. So I love that feature! Very helpful.

Thank you everyone for sharing that you will focus more on these amazing features in Sales Navigator!
If you’d like to double your chances to win the competition, check out the next monthly question here:

I’m so excited to hear from you! 😊

I want to use inmails much more easier to reach clients and customers directly

Increase your chances to win the competition of this quarter by answering to the questions on these two competition posts!

I definitely want to use more Account IQ and I would love to see it in smaller accounts as well.

Lead lists. I want to organize them more clearly for the part where we do not yet put the leads into the crm, but I still want to make sure to who and when to reach out (again).

I feel like this is a no brainer coming from me, but I would like to use Smart Links more. The only reason I am not using it is due to no longer having an enterprise license. But it’s okay, I will continue to evangelize the power of Smart Links!

I loved reading your answers and learning about how you start your day with Sales Navigator, which feature you’d like to use more of in the next year and which new feature you are excited about. It’s so powerful to hear about you and see how much you are dedicated to your daily selling habits!

Now it’s time to announce the winner of the last quarter of the competition. Before I do so, I’d like to share that we have received close to 30 entries! I was excited to record the draw and cheering for each one of you. Thank you for participating in the competition and being part of this amazing Community.
