Team Link in Sales Navigator allows you to find 1st-degree connections of everyone on your team in your book of business. This means that you can get warm referrals to your prospects, rather than going in cold.

Here are 6 steps to find Team Link Connections in Sales Navigator. 

 

Step 1: Go to the Lead Search Tab in Sales Navigator.

 

Step 2: Under “Account Lists” select the list with all your accounts (if you have not already, upload your book of business into Sales Navigator to generate this list.) 

 

Step 3: Under the spotlights filter add “with Team Link intro,” then apply the “removed viewed profiles” filter (to remove the same people from showing up over and over.) 

 

Step 4: Save this list to a search and view it weekly. 

 

Step 5: Add the new leads to your CRM using CRM sync, and then add them to a Salesloft cadence or Outreach sequence (if you haven’t already, you can build one just for referrals.) 

 

Step 6: Bonus from Samantha McKenna: Ask your teammates for 5-10 referrals at a time, to save time. 

 

Also, when you ask for a referral, stick to asking once or twice at most. Also offer to pre-write the email for them, so that you can save them time, and increase your chance of them saying yes.
