Hi Community members,
Have you ever wondered what top sales performers do to reach their full potential? The good news is that we know the specific steps they take, and we are here to help you to become one yourself. Over the next 9 weeks, we will be sharing each of the 9 Sales Navigator best practices that enables sellers to reach their full potential. To help you truly adopt these best practices, each week will have a task that advances your Sales Navigator skills and help you become more familiar with the Sales Solutions Community as well.
What’s even better? There will be prizes every three weeks and at the end of this challenge. Come join the fun and read on to find out more!
How the Community Challenge works
On every Monday for the next 9 weeks, starting next Monday, May 1, we will be sharing one best practice that top sellers do in Sales Navigator. From account prioritization to discovering hidden allies to engaging with buyers when they are ready, you will learn the tips and tricks from top performers and be empowered to reach your full potential as a sales professional.
Each week, we will be:
-
Asking you to share your experience around the Sales Navigator best practice. You can share:
-
how you implement this best practice in your role
-
the results you saw after adopting this best practice
-
what you learned from incorporating this best practice in your sales workflow
-
-
Encouraging you to take certain actions in the Community to help you become more familiar with the site and a more advanced member, such as:
-
exploring the Community’s resources
-
helping answer your peers’ questions
-
connecting with another Community member
-
upvoting or submitting a product idea
-
Sharing your experience around the Sales Navigator best practice that week will count as one entry. Taking a prescribed action in the Community that week will also count another entry, but all the steps within that action must be completed in order for your entry to count. You may be wondering that “entry” means, and this leads us into the next part of the Community Challenge – and what many of you have been waiting for: the prizes!
Community Challenge Prizes
In addition to earning badges and leveling up your user rank in the Community by participating in each week’s activity, we’d also like to recognize and reward those who took the time to participate.
Here’s how you can win a prize during or after the challenge:
- First, there will be a random drawing at the end of every three weeks. Everyone has an equal chance of two entries every week, which means up to six entries per drawing period. Remember that sharing your experience of that week’s Sales Navigator best practice and completing that week’s action in the Community each counts as one entry. At the end of every three weeks, we will randomly select a winner from the qualified pool. The lucky winner will win either a LinkedIn swag or virtual recognition from the Community team.
- Second, at the end of 9 weeks, the member who has not only provided the most value to other Community members but also completed the most actions in the Community will be invited to be an author of our Featured Article series on one (or multiple) of these best practices. Sharing your best practices in a Community Featured Article will help build your thought leadership in the Community and your digital brand/presence among other sales professionals and on LinkedIn. The winner of this challenge will be up to the discretion of the Community team, but he or she will be properly recognized in the Community.
If you are not familiar with our Community Featured Articles, check out previous editions from other members.
- Third, at the end of 9 weeks, the next set of members who provided the most value to the Community will have the opportunity to be a speaker in a future Community Member Roundtable. We will be reaching out to you individually in the future if you qualify.
