It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win LinkedIn swag. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

💡 Best of luck to everyone! I can’t wait to see the latest Sales Navigator tips and discoveries you share below!

I recently discovered category intent on the account page and it has really helped identify key personas that are interested in the different categories that are relevant to our company. This feature is really helpful because it allows for a “warmer” message to tailor to leads.

I recently discovered in the Accounts filter we can search for accounts that we have uploaded and connections that we have in those accounts . Making the “reach easier “.

One of my favorite tips that I still use to this day is using Boolean search in LinkedIn Sales Navigator. I’ll use quotation marks for an exact phrase or title and pair it up with some other filters in my search.

One recent feature in Sales Navigator that has significantly improved my workflow is the "Spotlight" filters. These filters allow you to focus your searches on specific, high-value prospects by refining your criteria based on recent activity. For example, you can use filters like "Posted on LinkedIn" or "Changed jobs in the past 90 days."

This is incredibly useful because it helps you identify prospects who are actively engaged or undergoing a transition, making them more likely to be receptive to outreach. If someone has recently posted about a pain point related to your solution, or if they’ve switched roles, they're often more open to new opportunities or conversations.

Another feature I really like is the "Account Insights" dashboard, which gives you real-time updates on account activity, like mentions in the news or leadership changes. This allows you to be more strategic in your outreach, tailoring your message based on what's happening with the prospect or company at that moment.

Both features together help streamline the lead-generation process, providing timely, targeted insights that make my outreach more relevant and personalized.

Shouting for one of our favorite plays: creating a search for incoming execs.
current company: yours

title: Director+ or VP+ if you work for a large co (then add parameters around divisions and geo so as to not be overwhelmed with results)

Each time a new leader joins, you’ll be notified and can connect with them + see who they know in your accounts for easy new intros. 🪄

The relationship map feature in general is super useful as it helps us create an org chart styled structure for the accounts we are focussing on

Adding to this is the ability to be able to add labels for each of the contact to say if they are a Decision Maker, Champion, Evaluator, Procurement, Influencer. This helps us quickly visualise how many Decision makers we have on our list and if we need to find more influencers within that target company
