📣 What is a Community Monthly Win Competition?

Early each month, we invite all Community members to enter the monthly competition by completing a task or ask in a certain timeframe, usually about three weeks. At the end of each quarter there will be a random draw where each competition entry from the different quarter competitions count! It’s worth joining each month to increase your chances to win a LinkedIn swag or Virtual Recognition*. Remember that the goal of these Monthly Competitions is to help members discover Community discussions, resources, and features that will improve your virtual selling strategy and activities.

📋 What are the rules around this Monthly Win Competition?

  • Participants must be in the Sales Solutions Community and over 18 years old.
  • The entry period runs from now, Jul 1, until Jul 31 11:59pm PST. For each entry to count, you must submit it within this timeframe.
  • After the entry period, the Community team will do a random draw with the names of qualified participants.
  • The winner will be announced on Aug 1.
    • If there is only one qualified participant, that participant is automatically named the winner without the need for a draw.
  • For further details on the Monthly Competition, please read the official Community Contest rules here.
  • Disclaimer: Your comment can be re-shared without additional permission in any upcoming Community post, article, or resource.

🏅 What are the prizes?

*The winner will have the opportunity to win a Community swag or a Virtual Recognition. For more information please read this Community Resources post.

We look forward to hearing what your sales tips for the summer months are. Best of luck and let the competition begin!

Research! Quiet time is a great time to research about your leads, prospects, clients. Account IQ feature is apt for this and also gives us all the news the company/key people have featured in

Here are 12 tips on things to do during the slower time over the next few weeks:

→ If you drop dead tomorrow, what notes would need to be in Salesforce?

→ Set clear next steps in SF

→ Be aware of the OOO emails and look out for phone numbers and more stakeholders

→ Schedule emails in Gmail to be sent at the beginning of September

→ Create a Linkedin posts bank

→ Draft sequences and emails

→ Outbound research and list building

→ Reflect on your ways of working: 'How can I optimise your everyday work to be more efficient and productive?'

→ Listen to these 🔥podcasts:

👉 30 Minutes to President's Club
👉 Sell Better

Both are great for B2B Salespeople.

With these strategies I had results last summer. When people are on holiday they still access the linkedin app and read what's new, because they have more time.😎

For example I worked on:

  1. List segmentation: Use segmented email marketing to reach the right customers with targeted messages, increasing the effectiveness of your communications.
  2. Seasonal content: Leverage summer-themed content to keep your audience engaged. Use relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience.
  3. Social media engagement: Actively interact on social media to build relationships and keep your brand top-of-mind during the summer months.
  4. Strategic planning: Prepare in advance by planning campaigns that take advantage of the peculiarities of the season, such as the use of summer images and messages oriented towards relaxation and well-being.

Summer and seasonality periods are the perfect time to punch the gas on pipeline building and getting your organizational house in order.

Segment your top accounts, run searches on your warmest leads using LI Sales Nav (read: has anyone worked for my company that now works in my territory? Do any of my execs or board members have connections to our decision makers for warm intros), create organization around nurture campaigns to send leads that were interested at the start of the year, etc.

This is the time to kick back for a vacation, but it’s also the perfect change to time block to prospect and build momentum for the back half of the year.

Totally agree with this! Might as well research and prepare for the busier months while you have more time at your disposal.

Love this- especially about social media! Keeping yourself relevant and on the top of a buyers mind is essential for when they are ready. Thanks for sharing Eleonora!
