We recently shared last quarter’s Sales Navigator product release, which includes various enhancements in Search and Lead Page enhancements, the brand new Relationship Explorer + Persona, and Buyer Intent* enhancements.

 

*Buyer Intent is available for our Advanced and Advanced Plus licenses. If you have one of the two licenses, please read below for more information.

 

1.     The new “Product Category” filter in Lead Search

Sellers will now be able to identify potential buyers who are likely researching their offering, whether they’ve indicated interest in their exact company or not. Coupling this new Product filter with the existing “Buyer Intent” filter in Account Search, sellers can identify leads at companies who are actively showing buyer intent in your company and with your product specifically.

These categories are created with AI by combining related keywords into one central category, which is then tied to products using publicly facing product descriptions. The intent is then connected using buyers’ member profiles as well as recent buying activities on Linkedin.com to help sellers find buyers who are likely looking for a solution like theirs. This data model will continue to improve in the coming quarters.

2.    Discover new paths and Buyer Intent data in Sales Navigator

New Buyer Intent activities are introduced this quarter to give sellers expanded content on the warmth of the key accounts and new line of site into potential paths in. These new activities are visible in the Buyer Activity section on Account Pages and on the Buyer Intent Account Dashboard.

  • LinkedIn ad engagement: Data from viewing activity and clicks
    • You will only be able to see the general profile of the buyer as these data points are private.
  • InMail acceptance for a colleague: Data on the public identity of individuals who have accepted InMails from other sellers on your Sales Navigator contract
  • Company LinkedIn page visits: Data on the clicks on the company’s LinkedIn page
    • You will only be able to see the general profile of the buyer as these data points are private.
  • LinkedIn profile visits to colleagues and leadership: Data on when a potential buyer visits the LinkedIn profile of a colleague on your Sales Navigator contract or a decision maker at your company
    • You will only be able to see the general profile of the buyer as these data points are private.
