As part of Sales Navigator’s Q1 2023’s product release, we shared updates that allow organizations to evolve the way they approach selling and enable sellers to be smarter and reach out with a more personalized approach.
For all our Sales Navigator users, in addition to the latest Search and Lead Page enhancements, the brand new Relationship Explorer (that lives under ‘People on the Account Page) will help you build habits that mirror top performers’, such as identifying multiple buyers and uncovering hidden allies who can act as champions.
With Relationship Explorer, sellers can:
- Save time in prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling – ultimately shortening sales cycles
- Discover the right contacts at a target account – 8 of the most relevant individuals will be surfaced based on your target persona from the interactions between members and organizations on LinkedIn
- Leverage powerful insights that provide a reason to reach out and build trust faster – such as recent job changes, posts on LinkedIn, and past customers

To start leveraging Relationship Explorer today, here are a few steps we recommend you to follow:
- Find the right buyer based on your target persona. This quarter, we are also introducing Personas in conjunction with Relationship Explorer. Personas is a strategic lens to help reduce the time sifting through leads and instead help you prioritize the leads that you have the best chance of converting. The best thing about Personas is that it is editable at any time and can be applied throughout different parts of the product, such as in Search, with Relationship Explorer, and growth insides on the Account Page.
- Get insights on why this individual is the right person and have a reason to reach out. With timely insights like recent job changes and when they last posted on LinkedIn, sellers are able to personalize their outreach.
- Know what to do next. Relationship Explorer will provide sellers with the next best action on how to move forward with a lead.
- Filter your results to focus on the most relevant insights. You can filter all the results by specific spotlight filters to identify the insight you care about the most.
Once again, the latest Relationship Explorer uncovers top prospects at your accounts based on your target persona, leveraging the power of relationship intelligence (i.e. interactions, trends) and real-time, 1st party data from LinkedIn’s professional network to provide optimal paths in. Sellers are now able to act on insights, build trust faster, and become more efficient sellers.
