  • New Search Functionality: Streamline your search experience with the ability to apply commonly used filters directly in the search bar for quick and relevant results.
  • ‘Lead shared an updated’’ alert with side panel: When you engage with a “Lead shared an update on LinkedIn” alert, it now opens into a side panel on your home page, allowing you to view, comment, and react without leaving your workflow in Sales Navigator.
  • LinkedIn Learning Access*: As a reminder, your Professional Edition Sales Navigator seat gives you access to LinkedIn Learning’s library, with thousands of courses to help sharpen your sales skills and more. Find out how to access learning here!

*LinkedIn Learning is only included with Professional Edition.

Team Edition:

  • Team Edition customers enjoy all the updates listed in the Professional Edition, plus:
    • Smart Links Update: Share Smart Links from Messages on desktop and mobile. Additionally, easily stay up-to-date on prospects and customers with an alert when your Smart Links are viewed. Additionally, Admins can now view and understand their team’s use of Smart Links with two new data points in Usage Reporting. Find out all about Smart Links here.
    • Public and Private Notes: Write and view Notes within Custom Lists in addition to Lead and Account Pages, mark any note as Public (visible to all colleagues for seamless sharing and collaboration) or Private (visible to self only). Notes can be written back to CRM from both Lead/Account Pages and Lists (CRM Sync required).*
    • New Admin Home: Admins can now access a new Admin Home experience, which outlines recommended objectives designed to drive sales productivity and provides access to other key Admin tools in an updated navigation.
    • Sales Navigator Application Platform (SNAP) Partners: To continue streamlining the workflow between Sales Navigator and HubSpot, this update now gives users the ability to add Sales Navigator-specific tasks, like sending LinkedIn connection requests or Messages, directly to their HubSpot Sales Hub sequences, and complete these tasks without leaving HubSpot
    • CRM Enhancements: Organizations wishing to take advantage of CRM Sync and its associated features, while remaining in alignment with stringent corporate security concerns, can now access CRM Sync through a new CRM Admin “Read Only” credential. Note: Access limited to specific features of CRM Sync that do not require activity writeback to CRM.*
    • Sales Navigator Community: Now all Team and Enterprise Edition users have access to the Community, to connect and share tips with other users and Sales Navigator experts. Additionally, Community is now available in all Sales Navigator-supported languages
    • Account Center Migration: Account Center, the new dashboard for license management, will continue to ramp to contracts with fewer than 50 seats

Enterprise Edition:

  • Enterprise Edition customers enjoy all of the updates listed in the Professional and Team Editions, plus:
    • Smart Links CRM Writeback: Admins can enable writeback of Smart Links activity, bringing key Smart Links interactions into their CRM and making it easier than ever to get an integrated view into how their team is using the Smart Links feature and how that ties to deal outcomes (CRM Sync required). * Find out all about Smart Links here.
    • Contact Creation for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales: Simplifying the workflow between your CRM and Sales Navigator, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales users can create a Contact record in CRM directly from a Sales Navigator Lead Page or Lead List (CRM Sync required).* Learn more about content creation here.

All these features were 100% ramped on June 15th.

Friendly Reminder for All Editions:

Of course! 😊 Hope you can join our Community AMA on June 16th! It will be the perfect opportunity to ask all your questions to our product team.

Hi. Is the access to LinkedIn Learning for Professional edition of the Sales Nav users now live for everyone? When I am trying to access LinkedIn Learning I am being prompted to buy the license.

Hi, @Justyna B!

That's a great question! The great news is that to help support you and your workforce adapting and ideally thriving, we've opened up the following LinkedIn Learning coursesthat focus on being productive while working from home, including tips on using virtual meeting tools to build relationships in a new working environment.

You can find out what are the LinkedIn Learning courses that are for free here.

Feel free to go through these courses, take advantage of the incredible learnings and share them with your teams. 😊

Please let me know in case you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Nádia

Why is LinkedIn Learning included with Professional but not other editions?

Hello, @Jonathan P!

Thank you for your question.

At this time, LinkedIn Learning is available to our Professional plan users only.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to reach out in case you have any further questions. 😊

Thank you,

Nádia

Hi Nadia. Many thanks for your reply. I have to say I am a bit more confused now - from what I remember, all of these free courses that you mentioned have been advertised as free to any LinkedIn members, not just Professional Sales Nav users. Your update mentions: "Professional Edition Sales Navigator seat gives you access to LinkedIn Learning’s library, with thousands of courses to help sharpen your sales skills and more."- does this mean that all you get for free is access to the 'library of courses'? I am sure this is also the case for free members. Can you please clarify what specifically is available to Professional members only?

Hello, @Justyna B. Of course, I'm happy to clarify.

At this time only our Professional license holders have access to LinkedIn Learning’s library, with courses to help improve sales skills. You can find out how to access the sales learning path here. Additionally, as you mentioned, LinkedIn has made available some LinkedIn Learning learning paths for free to all LinkedIn users, which include Teams and Enterprise license holders.

Hope this is helpful and feel free to reach out in case you need any further assistance. 😊

Thanks,

Nádia

Hi Nadia. I have clicked on the sales learning path link provided by you and I am being prompted to reactive my LinkedIn Learning license for which I am being asked to pay.

Hi, @Justyna B. I was troubleshooting this with both our product and technical support teams and they've finally confirmed that, at this time, LinkedIn Learning is only available for our Professional plan. You can compare and see all features available for all LinkedIn Sales Navigator plans here.

However, as we've previously announced in this thread, in order to help support you and your workforce adapting and ideally thriving, we've opened up the following LinkedIn Learning coursesthat focus on being productive while working from home, including tips on using virtual meeting tools to build relationships in a new working environment. They are now available for free. Can you please check that you're able to access these courses?

Additionally, I'd like to confirm that both our product release page and this Community thread have been updated to reflect the most accurate information about the access to LinkedIn Learning.

Hope this is helpful and thank you so much for your being so patient and supportive, while we were troubleshooting this.

Nádia

Hi Nadia. Thank you for following this up with the teams! Just to be absolutely clear - what you are saying is that the Team and Enterprise versions of Sales Nav do not include LinkedIn Learning? If that's the case, then the description of Team version needs correcting as it says, on the link provided by you that the Team version includes 'All features from Professional, plus:...'. Why is that? I can now access all the courses in the following link that you provided https://www.linkedin.com/learning/paths/remote-working-setting-yourself-and-your-teams-up-for-success?trk=eml_mktg_gco_urgentcomms_20200310&mcid=6643225906670379008&src=e-eml , however none of these courses are related to sales path mentioned in your Q2 update (which wre these https://www.linkedin.com/learning/topics/sales-3) - is this something that is also a bug or are these coming?

Hi @Justyna B. Yes, I confirm that Team and Enterprise versions of Sales Nav don't include LinkedIn Learning access, as you can see in the compare plans link I've provided in my previous comment.

Earlier today, we've updated this Community thread, and, if you read above, the Professional edition already includes the following note: ''*LinkedIn Learning is only included with Professional Edition'' so that is clear that this isn't available for Teams and Enterprise editions.

As for the sales path that the Q2 update is referring, since LinkedIn Learning is only available for free to Professional users, that learning path is only available for them.

Additionally, just like you said, and I'm happy to see that this is working for you, the remote working learning path was made available for free by LinkedIn Learning to all LinkedIn users.

I will try to reach out to our product team and understand if the access to LinkedIn Learning for Teams and Enterprise is being considered and I'm happy to follow up here once I hear back from them.

Hope this is helpful! 😊

Thank you very much Nadia for your comprehensive reply. All clear now 🙂 Look forward to hearing more from you. Best regards, Justyna

***UPDATE***

Hi all,

In the past year, we’ve seen our customers’ needs — and their use of Sales Navigator — rapidly evolve. Sales Navigator has become increasingly essential as the world moves online and sellers seek more effective ways to connect to the right buyers virtually.

If you haven't heard, we have a new Sales Navigator experience coming soon in January 2022:

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the (new) features of each plan at the links above or watch the recording of the new Sales Navigator lineup experience.

In addition, I want to call out that Contact Creation (via CRM Sync) and other CRM enhancements (i.e. CRM Badges and Activity Writeback for Smart Links and connection requests) will be available for only the Advanced Plus plan beginning in January 2022.

Thank you and please let us know if you have any questions,

Eva C.
