Finally, please keep this information between you and your Program Leads and do not share externally, as this is an exclusive early view, and these features are still under development. If you have questions or feedback about the product direction, please provide your feedback directly to our team by starting a new post and selecting “Product Idea” on the left.

Thank you and feel free to drop any questions below,

Finally you did it !

first time I used SN...long ago... I was wondering why you did not allow to filter alerts by Lists
this is to me a real game changer

I’ve been enjoying all the new updates lately - the filtering has already gotten much better. I’m excited to find some time to digest all these new changes and try them out :)

I think the filtering you can apply to a lead search works very well, I just wish you could also apply a filter to the system generated leads. Having been in a global role for 25 years, I have a large international network, which I am still following and connecting with. For Sales Navigator however, I want suggestions to be relevant to my current regional role, so a geography filter to help the system generate more relevant leads would be great.

If you could also tell the system to exclude ex. specific industries, it would help tune the system generated leads even more, as I have also made a siginifant change in industry lately.

Currently only 10% of the system generated leads are even theoretically relevant for me.

I forgot to mention that if you build a filter for system generated leads, then please also allow us to mark companies as “not relevant” and “current compnay” in the list. The company I work for is a large international group operating under many different names, so linking with my colleagues distrupts the value of the system generated leads quite a lot.

Thank you for this feedback, @françois-xavier magnin! So glad to hear you think so, and I’m happy that the Product team is finally enabling filtering by Lists on the Homepage. This is one of our most requested functionalities from the Community, so I’m also glad to see it coming to live soon! 😊

Do let us know what you think of the new feature and how you’re using it once it’s available to you!

Brooke! So good to see you, and I’m so happy to hear that!

Enhancing our Search capabilities (including filters and usability) has been a focus of our Product team the last few quarters. There definitely are a lot of new filters this year so far that weren’t around last year.

I’d love to hear how you or your team is using these new filters once you do try them out. 😊

Hi @Tageurop, welcome to the Sales Solutions Community! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us on filter capabilities in system-generated lists.

I just checked, and I believe you can select a system-generated list in the ‘Lead List’ and ‘Account List’ filters in Lead Search.

If you don’t see this option, you can also go into the list itself and select “View in search” at the top right.

This should open up pre-selected filters according to what best fits your system-generated list. You can then add, edit, or remove more filters as you wish.

Community Pro Tip: You can also save this search so that you don’t have to go through so many pages or clicks to get to this set of search criteria and results.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Thank you,
Eva C.

Requiring email when saving Leads to CRM with no specific setting to control this is a big functional misstep.

Hi @Eva_Community Program Manager Do you know more or less when the new features will be available?

The Beta function to get recommendations based on industry seems like a great feature. Unfortunately the category list was made by someone not understanding that we do not all work with software.

Could we please get relevant industrial hardware/machine/production categories added to the category list as well:

Hi Eva,

sorry for the late feedback, I tried it out and forgot to write back. Developing a search is easy and works well, but the point of a system generated lead list should be that we get hints to leads we might overlook in our human and manual development of searches. If we need to copy it into a search and then setup filter to get value of a system generated lead list, then I see no point in them to begin with.

I have several searches developed and saved already and filtering the system generated list provided absolutely nothing new.
