Hi, all.
Welcome to your first Statement of Direction for 2022!
This is your exclusive preview into Sales Navigator updates that will start to roll out in the coming weeks. We hope these updates will help you and your teams start the year on a strong note and position you for success in 2022.
Salespeople everywhere are working toward their goals for the new year or quarter, but the Great Reshuffle of talent continues to introduce new challenges. Turnover among corporate directors and executives is up 31%, changing buying committees and key decision makers at a rapid pace. As a result, 80% of salespeople report that they have delayed or lost a deal because of job changes within target accounts.
To help salespeople mitigate these risks and capitalize on new opportunities during the Great Reshuffle, we are introducing several enhancements to Sales Navigator.
Top New Enhancements & Features Coming This Quarter:
- For all Sales Navigator license holders] All-new Search, including a refreshed end-to-end search process with filters grouped intuitively by type, and a results interface that refreshes in real time as you add/ remove filters.
Updates include:
- The introduction of a refreshed Search process, including a larger collapsible, intuitive grouped view of filters, making it easier to keep a full picture of all the ways you can access LinkedIn data
- Net new filters such as "Company headquarters" and "TeamLink connections of" to build on existing favorite filters like "Connections of" and "Changed jobs in the past 90 days"
- A live updating interface. Watch your results change as you add and remove filters to allow immediate fine-tuning.
- lFor Advanced Plus Sales Navigator license holders*] “At-Risk Opportunities” list uniquely surfaces in Sales Navigator those deals that may be at risk because a buyer t has left for a new organization. It is auto-generated by matching CRM contact information in open Opportunities with current LinkedIn company and member data.
*Note: This feature is only available for Advanced Plus customers with CRM Sync enabled. CRM Sync requires Salesforce Sales Cloud or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales.
- For all Sales Navigator license holders – continued rollout from 2021 Q4] The new Homepage experience helps prioritize immediately actionable information through Alerts (including job changes and account hiring trends), Priority Accounts, and Account Map views. (Access to this experience began rolling out last quarter and all Sales Navigator users will have the new homepage by the end of this quarter.)
Action Needed: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales customers:
The security of your data is of the utmost importance to us, and in order to maintain the highest levels of protection, LinkedIn periodically and proactively rotates our server connections.
As part of these protocols, we are requiring all Sales Navigator accounts using CRM Sync with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales to re-authenticate their connection by March 22, 2022. The process will take no more than 2 minutes for your Microsoft Dynamics administrator to complete.
For instructions on how to re-authenticate, please review this Help Center article. After this process has been completed, users on your account will be prompted to re-authenticate their own access from within Sales Navigator. Re-authentication by March 22 is required to maintain access to CRM integrations (including auto-save, activity writeback, contact and lead creation, at-risk opportunities and champions lists and more).
